Every bull dog puppy needs good bulldog puppy training. Bull dogs have a striking appearance and jovial behaviour. They are good companions for human beings and are great around the family. They are known to be very loyal. They have a massive broad head and big round eyes. They have a saggy skin which gives a frowning expression. Bull dogs are normally sweet, patient and tolerant. They come across as friendly and have a laid back attitude.

Bull dogs as training students are quite evil to work with. In the very initial stages the trainer needs to establish himself as the leader. While conducting the bulldog puppy training you need to bond with the puppy in the beginning and then he will be more than eager to please you. Like a small baby they have small retention capacity, but this is the time to establish a controlled relationship.

Dogs by nature have the tendency to dominate. So it is essential to establish the master and pet relation first. It needs to know that you will issue the orders which are mandatory for it to follow. Care must be taken to ensure it doesn’t turn out to be an aggressive dog. Guidance to the dog must be given in a plain, non complicated and positive manner. During the bulldog puppy training, the trainer needs to be very encouraging, be consistent, and use rewards lavishly.

Bull dogs are stubborn and at times will be indifferent to training. However, if the sessions are small, fun and powerful they are bound to enjoy them. During the bulldog puppy training, the puppy bull dog needs to be trained on basic house etiquettes. Training to not steal food, not chew toys and follow basic commands like sit, stay, down, heal, come, etc is essential.  This also helps create a very strong connection with the dog. Walking nicely with a long leash is an important skill to be mastered by the pet. 

The bull dog puppy must be handled carefully without petting it or cuddling it too much. You are spoiling the puppy in this manner because as he grows he is going to expect much more of you and if you don’t continue it gets into a destructive mode. The bull dog has the tendency to jump on you whenever it sees you. This is because of the excitement it feels when you are around. When it is young, you need to set some boundaries. It doesn’t understand the difference between you petting it and yelling at it. When he jumps over you, ensure that you instruct him and then ignore him for sometime. If you immediately pet him he thinks its ok to do so.

Avoid training the puppy when you are in a bad mood. We all have our bad day and if the trainer is stressed, sad or tired, it definitely makes a negative impact on the puppy.
Training a fully grown dog is going be a harder than the bulldog puppy training. They are obstinate and will make a lot of trouble while leash walking. They need a lot of food motivation therefore give them only as big as a pea else they will gain a lot of weight. Use a lot of hand commands with the grown up dogs as they will then know how to relate to them. Also remember that practice will increase the consistency of following the order. The more you work with the dog the prouder it will make you feel.
